Rockstar Bill Kaulitz (20) von „Tokio Hotel“ („Automatisch“) war letzte Woche auf der A 24 mit seinem Audi Q7 in einen Verkehrsunfall geraten und in die Leitplanken gebrettert. Am Auto entstand Totalschaden.

Rock star BK (20) of TH (Automatic) got into a car accident with his Audi Q4 on the A24 last week and hit the guardrails. The car was a total loss.

La Rock star BK (20) de TH (Automatic) a eu un accident de voiture en Audi Q4 sur la A24 la semaine dernière et est rentré dans des rambardes de sécurité. La voiture est totalement inutilisable.

Der Sänger: „Ich denke jeden Tag an den Unfall. Ich glaube, ich brauche noch eine Weile, um das zu verarbeiten. Das sitzt ganz schön tief. Ich dachte, ich komme da nicht lebend raus. Ich war dem Tod definitiv noch nie so nah! Es ist ein Wunder, dass ich noch lebe. In solchen Momenten merkt man, was wirklich wichtig ist und man lernt sein Leben ganz neu zu schätzen.“

The singer: I think about the accident every day. I think it will be a while before I can get over it. It goes deep. I thought I wouldn’t make it out alive. I’ve never been this close to death! It’s a miracle that I’m still alive. In moments like that we notice what is really important and to cherish one’s life anew.

Le chanteur: je pense à l’accident tous les jours. Je pense qu’il me faudra du temps pour oublier. C’est assez profond. Je pensais vraiment que je n’allais pas m’en sortir vivant. Je n’ai jamais été aussi proche de la mort! C’est un miracle que je sois toujours en vie. Dans ce genre de moment, tu te rends compte de ce qui est vraiment important et tu apprends à apprécier la vie de nouveau.

Bill: „Ich saß alleine im Auto und war auf dem Weg nach Berlin. Ich bin grundsätzlich ein sehr vorsichtiger Fahrer, hatte noch nie einen Unfall und fahre nie zu schnell. Plötzlich zog ein Wagen ohne zu blinken auf meine Spur. Beim Ausweichen kam ich dann ins Schleudern.“

Bill: I was alone in the car on my way to Berlin. Normally I’m a very careful driver, have never been in an accident and never speed. Suddenly another car pulled into my lane without indicating. Trying to avoid it I lost control over the wheel.

Bill: J’étais seul en voiture en route pour Berlin. D’habitude, je suis un conducteur très prudent, je n’ai jamais eu d’accident et ne roule jamais trop vite. D’un coup, une voiture est arrivée devant moi sans indication. En essayant de l’éviter, j’ai perdu le contrôle des roues.

Bill trat auf die Bremse, versuchte mit seinem Audi zum Stehen zu kommen. Dann knallte er in die Leitplanken. Bill: „In so einem Moment versucht man nur noch, sein Leben zu retten. Mit einem anderen Wagen hätte das auch anders ausgehen können. Ich habe nicht einen Kratzer davon getragen.“

Bill hit the brakes, and tried to stop his Audi. Then he hit the guardrails. Bill: “In a moment like that you only try to save your life. With another car it could have ended differently. I didn’t even get a scratch.”

Bill: „Ich habe sofort versucht, aus dem Wagen zu kommen. Ich hab die Tür mit aller Kraft aufgedrückt und per Handy die Polizei gerufen. Ich war völlig durcheinander und stand unter Schock. Die Polizei hat versucht, mich am Telefon zu beruhigen.“

Bill: I tried to get out of the car immediately. I pushed open the door as hard as I could and called the police on my cell. I was very upset and in shock. The police tried to calm me down by phone.

Bill: J’ai immédiatement essayé de sortir de la voiture . J’ai poussé la porte aussi fort que ce que je pouvais et j’ai appellé la police avec mon portable. J’étais très énervé et choqué. La police a essayé de me calmer au téléphone.

Bills Angehörige reisten sofort zu Bill nach Berlin, um für ihn da zu sein und ihn zu beruhigen.

Bill’s relatives immediately travelled to Berlin, to be with him and calm him down.

Les proches de Bill se sont immédiatement rendu à Berlin pour être avec lui et le calmer.

Bill: „Mein Bruder Tom hat sich wahnsinnige Sorgen gemacht. Ich hatte die ganze Nacht immer wieder die Bilder vor Augen und habe nicht geschlafen. Alle haben mich unterstützt und versucht, mich aufzubauen.“

Bill: “My brother Tom was insanely worried. I saw the images in front of my eyes over and over again and didn’t sleep at all. Everyone supported me and tried to make me feel better.”

Bill: “Mon frère Tom était inquiet comme un fou. Je revoyais les images devant mes yeux encore et encore et je n’ai pas dormis de la nuit. Tout le monde m’a soutenu et a essayé de me faire me sentir mieux”.

Trotz des Schock-Erlebnisses trat Bill Kaulitz am nächsten Tag bei den „MTV-Awards“ in Berlin auf, nahm die Auszeichnung als „Beste Band“ entgegen.

In spite of this shocking experience Bill performed the next day for the MTV Awards in Berlin, and accepted the award for Best Band.

Malgré cette expérience choquante, Bill a quand même chanté sur scène le jour suivant pour les MTV Awards à Berlin, et a reçu l’award pour Best Band.

„Tokio Hotel“ Produzent und Manager David Jost zu BILD: „Wir haben Bill eindringlich dazu geraten, den Auftritt bei den MTV-Awards aufgrund des Unfalls abzusagen. Aber obwohl der Unfall ein Riesenschock für Bill war, bestand er darauf, den Auftritt zu machen.“

TH producer and manager David Jost told Bild: “We told Bill that he shouldn’t perform at the EMAs because of the accident. But although the accident was a huge shock for him, he insisted on doing it.”

Le producteur et manageur de TH, David Jost a dis à Bild: ” nous avons dis à Bill qu’il ne devrait pas jouer sur scène aux EMAs à cause de l’accident. Mais malgré le fait que l’accident ait été un grand choc pour lui, il a insisté pour le faire quand même.

Anfang nächsten Jahres ist Deutschlands erfolgreichste Rockband wieder auf deutschen Straßen unterwegs, diesmal aber nicht im PKW, sondern in einem Riesen-Tourbus. Am 26. Februar geben sie ein großes Konzert in Oberhausen und am 28. Februar spielen sie ein Konzert in Hamburg.

At the start of next year Germany‘s most successful rock band will be on German roads again, not in a car this time, but in a giant tour bus. On Feb. 26th they’ll do a big concert in Oberhausen, and on the 28th in Hamburg.

Au début de l’année prochaine, le groupe de rock le plus connu d’Allemagne sera sur les routes allemandes de nouveau, pas en voiture cette fois, mais dans un bus géant. Le 26 février, ils feront un grand concert à Oberhausen, et le 28 à Hambourg.
