Now that The Best of Tokio Hotel is close to being released, I think it would be a good time to get Tokio Hotel played on Much Music, again. We’ve already started our “Tokio Hotel Back on Much Music” video action, but we’d also like to remind you that Much on Demand has turned into an all request show. This means that if enough people request it, Tokio Hotel will be played. Much Music says that they will play any video, which means you can request anything by the band. However, we’re trying to promote their latest work!

Maintenant que le Best of de Tokio Hotel va bientôt sortir, je crois que ce serait le bon moment de faire jouer de nouveau du Tokio Hotel sur Much Music. Nous avons déjà débuté notre action vidéo «Tokio Hotel de retour sur Much Music», mais nous voudrions également vous rappeler que Much On demand est devenu une émission de demandes spéciales seulement. Ce qui veut dire que si assez de personnes le demandent, du Tokio Hotel sera joué.  Much Music a dit qu’ils feront jouer tous vidéos, ce qui veut dire que vous pouvez demander n’importe quoi venant du groupe, mais nous essayons de promouvoir leur dernier album, quand même!

It’s up to us, Canada!

Much Music wants to know if you have something to say about your favourite music video! This not only your chance to be on TV, but it’s also your chance to get Tokio Hotel back on Much Music.

They are looking for fans between the ages of 16 and 24, who have an exciting personality to say anything at all about their favourite artist or music video.  We want you, all of you, to film your audition and talk about Tokio Hotel! Try to speak about their most recent videos, World Behind my Wall, or Darkside of the Sun. If you can’t pick just one, pick a few! You can send in more than one request, and the more requests you send, the better your chances are. You are required to tape a 30 second video audition and send it in to Much Music. Let’s do it!

It’s still unconfirmed whether or not the boys will be there, but even if they can’t make it we want to see them win, right? There is no voting for this category (yet) BUT you can support TH and get them up there in two ways:

-Twitter anything about TH to @MuchMusic as often as you can, but remember not to spam!
-Watch Automatic on the MuchMusic website HERE until your computer crashes.

Maybe we could get a trending topic going too? How about #TokioHotelMMVAs ?

We showed we still have it with the Comets, now let’s give TH their first Canadian award! It’s not quite as big as the MTV Video Awards but it’s still a pretty big deal!

If you’re in the Toronto area and want to get in on the MMVA action, the wristband giveaway starts at 8 a.m. on Saturday, June 12 at MuchMusic. You have to be over 14 and it’s only one per person, and please bring a non-perishable food item! The lineup is LONG and a lot of people camp out several nights in advance, so be sure to get there early! Different coloured wristbands are for different stages, there should be announcements of who’s playing which stage in advance. Confirmed performers so far are Adam Lambert, Ke$ha, Down With Webster, Mariana’s Trench, Justin Bieber, Katy Perry.

More announcements to come in the next few weeks!

If you’re not lucky enough to snag a wristband, everyone is welcome to watch from the street and see the red carpet!

The show is Sunday June 20th at 9pm ET/6pm PT, so mark your calendars. We’ve marked ours.
