Humanoid World – Tokio Hotel Official Fanclub Scavenger Hunt!
Humanoid World – La chasse au trésor des Fanclubs Officiels de Tokio Hotel!
(Traduction en Français ci-dessous)
To celebrate the exciting release of the Welcome to Humanoid City Tour LIVE DVD and CD, Official Tokio Hotel Fanclubs from around the world have come together to create an amazing contest for you! With multiple opportunities to win from an amazing selection of prizes, this contest will be a great way to fill the next two weeks of boring waiting for the release! And you might even win the DVD everyone is dying to have in their hands!
The rules are very simple – this is a scavenger hunt (if you don’t know what a scavenger hunt is, check out Wiki!) and you are tasked with finding 15 puzzle pieces that fit together to make one big picture.
So where are these puzzle pieces?
Tokio Hotel have a diverse and international fanbase, and an amazing collection of colourful Fanclubs, so you will need to embrace your fellow international fans and delve into Fanclubs you may never have visited. On the participating Fanclub pages, you will find, somewhere on their website, one puzzle piece. You must save that puzzle piece and keep it safe. On the same page that you find the puzzle piece, you will also see a flag. That flag is your clue to the next Fanclub. Once you have figured out which country you need to visit, you must find their official Fanclub and start the process again until you have collected all 15 puzzle pieces.
Sound’s easy, right?
There’s a time limit! You have exactly 24 hours to find the puzzle piece before moving on to the next Fanclub. Once the 24 hour time period has elapsed, the puzzle piece will be taken down and you will no longer be able to collect it. That is why time is of the essence!
Don’t panic!
There will be a last chance opportunity to find any puzzle pieces you missed. On the 16th July, the last day of the contest, all Fanclubs will have their puzzle piece up on their website. You get a last chance 24 hours for any missing piece. So don’t worry if you miss a day or two – you will still be in the running!
So what can I win?
We have an amazing selection of prizes to give away! Check it out:
15 Humanoid City Live DVDs, 5 Caught on Camera DVDs, 5 Humanoid City Live CDs, 15 Durch den Monsun singles + singles (Automatic, Scream, Der letzte Tag, Schrei, Rette mich), T-Shirts, Folders, Notebooks, Posters, necklaces, totebags, pin sets, magazines, stickers from all around the world. PLUS: One pair of drumsticks used by Gustav on the Welcome to Humanoid City Tour!!
With so many great prizes to win, you can’t fail to be lucky!
So good luck!
Important info:
- You must save all 15 puzzle pieces to win.
- You must send all 15 puzzle pieces attached to an email at the END of the contest.
- We will not accept emails before the end of the contest.
- Send puzzle pieces to: humanoidworld@gmail.com include your name and country!
- If you want hints or help, tweet using the hashtag #humanoidworld and we’ll be there for you.
- Deadline for sending all the puzzle pieces is exactly 2 PM EST on 18th July 2010.
- For reference, this contest changes country at 2PM EST each evening and will do so until the 17th July 2010.
You will see the first flag here on the 1st July, 2PM EST. You have exactly 24 hours to find the homepage of this country’s official Fanclub and their puzzle piece

June 30th, 2010 at 3:53 pm
This is SO COOL! at the end, do we have to send the puzzle pieces attached as one big picture, or do we jsut send them separately? =D
June 30th, 2010 at 4:29 pm
Whatever works for you. We’ll accept both. =)
June 30th, 2010 at 5:33 pm
GAH, this sounds so amazing! Except i’m suuuuper busy the nest few days D: Hope I’ll have time to find them ;D
June 30th, 2010 at 6:05 pm
This sounds like it’s going to be really fun
I’m a bit confused though, does this mean we’ll have to find all of the pieces within one day? That was probably a dumb question, but I’m not too sure. :Z
June 30th, 2010 at 6:21 pm
Nooo. It’s like, one piece will be up for 24 hours. The next day, another piece will be up at another Fanclub – you’ll have 24 hours to find that one, etc.
June 30th, 2010 at 7:00 pm
Oh I see. So can we start at any fanclub or should it be this one?
June 30th, 2010 at 7:11 pm
Yup. You can start at any of the 15 official FCs that are participating.
July 1st, 2010 at 12:02 am

July 1st, 2010 at 1:51 am
Just to clarify…All the fanclubs will take down their pieces at 2pm EST on July 17th, right?
July 1st, 2010 at 9:56 am
That is awesome. Does everyone go to te same site on the same day, or does it depend on which one you started with?
July 1st, 2010 at 11:49 am
No… after the first piece goes up, you’ll have 24 hours to find it before it is taken down. But if you miss a day, don’t worry. There will be a last chance opportunity to find any puzzle pieces you missed. On the 16th July, the last day of the contest, all Fanclubs will have their puzzle piece up on their website.
July 1st, 2010 at 12:32 pm
Cassandra, you can start the hunt at any participating FC you wish. Today at 2PM EST, every FC will give a clue as to where you’re supposed to go next in the form of a flag. Then, you’ll look for the puzzle piece and there will be another flag telling you what FC to visit next.

Okay, the puzzle piece is located on the website of the fanclub that the flag is showing. Once you find the puzzle piece there (You need to look on EVERY PAGE) save it! (right click > hit ‘save as’)
Below the puzzle piece will be the flag of another country’s fanclub. At 2PM EST (20:00 Berlin time) a 2nd puzzle piece will be on the fanclub shown in the next flag. You’ll have 24 hours to find it.
July 2nd, 2010 at 2:24 pm

Ummm, is anyone going to fix the problems people are having with the FC for today??? It’s NOT responding!!!
July 2nd, 2010 at 6:21 pm
Go to the UK site and go to where you found the piece. There will be another flag telling you where you need to go.
July 2nd, 2010 at 6:22 pm
No. There will be an actual puzzle piece somewhere on the official fanclub for the country of the flag shown.
July 2nd, 2010 at 6:23 pm
If the site the 2nd piece is on doesn’t work by the deadline, it will be up tomorrow beside the 3rd piece. Every FC will post the flag to the 3rd site so you all know where to go.
