On February 22th, in Esch Alzette, Luxembourg, marked the beginning of the concert tour of the acclaimed German band Tokio Hotel, Welcome to Humanoid City. The tour hits a total of 32 European cities including Moscow, Saint Petersburg, Madrid, Barcelona, Rome, Milan, and concluding finally in Paris on April 14th. The impressive show took place on the stage of a subterranean city, mysterious and futuristic, pervading tones of black, red, and dark blue.

Bursting into this mysterious scenario from an unknown planet are the four members of the Hamburg based rock band, dressing in clothes designed by DSQUARED² from their new Fall/Winter 2010-11 collection. Front-man and leader of the band Bill Kaulitz will wear costumes designed especially by Dean and Dan Caten, designers of DSQUARED², all inspired by the mysterious mood of the tour.

“We are so excited about this collaboration. Tokio Hotel are young, fresh and modern….it’s going to be fun. Long live the real rockstars!” – state Dean and Dan Caten.

The singer will alternate between five extremely spectacular and striking looks, beginning with a black leather bodysuit underneath a structurized vest in metalisized fabric and reflecting patches from which illuminating, pulsing tubes emerge.

Overtop the same jumpsuit will then be placed a padded white armour shell-vest in plastic, from which sprout and puncture out electric cable-like tubes.

Once the white armour is removed Bill will wear a wide-shouldered jacket with spiked overlays protruding along the length of the arm. Giving the jacket a glowing light are hundreds of smoky black crystals and reflectors beneath each overlay.
The fourth look that accompanied the black jumpsuit was a structured top covered in mirrored shapes, fastened with screws and long pointed “killer” studs, giving the effect of a super-modern amour. Beneath the shoulders protrude tubes that glow and flash depending on their positions.

For the more intimate acoustic part of the concert, Bill Kaulitz will diverge from armoured vests and shells to dress in a black leather biker jacket with shoulders completely adorned with long nickel spikes, a t-shirt printed with a blood-splatter sketch, and a belt adorned with dangling chains atop skinny jeans.

In all of the looks Bill will wear an array of chains and smoky crystals around his neck, and black leather gloves adorned with metal pieces and long dangling chains.

For the Italian dates of “Welcome to Humanoid City” tour, Dsquared2 will also give away 2 VIP tickets for each concert. The dates will be 25 March in Turin, 26 March in Padova and 11 April in Roma.

Le 22 février, en Esch Alzette, au Luxembourg, est marqué du commencement du tour du groupe Allemand Tokio Hotel. Welcome to Humanoid City. Cette tournée touche un total de 32 villes européennes, incluant Moscou, Saint-Pétersbourg, Madrid, Barcelone, Rome, Milan et  se termine finalement à Paris le 14 Avril.  L’impressionnant  concert a pris place sur une scène de villes souterraines, mystérieuse et futuristes, prévoyant beaucoup de noir, rouge et bleu foncé.

Éclatant dans ce scénario mystérieux d’une planète inconnue, les quatre membres du groupe de rock d’Hambourg, habillés avec des vêtements fait par DSQUARED² pour leur nouvelle collection Automne/Hiver 2010-11. Meneur et leader du groupe, Bill Kaulitz portera un costume conçu spécialement par Dean et Dan Caten, designers de DSQUARED², tous inspirés par l’humeur mystérieuse de la tournée.

“Nous sommes tellement excites avec cette collaboration. Tokio Hotel sont très jeunes, frais et modernes… ça va être amusant. Longue vie aux vraies stars du Rock!’’ – constate Dean et Dan Caten.

Le chanteur alternera entre cinq looks spectaculaires et frappants, commençant par un habit de cuir noir, sous une veste structurée dans un tissu métallique et reflétant  des correctifs desquels d’illuminants et pulsants tubes émergent.

Par-dessus la même combinaison sera placée coque en forme d’armure blanche, d’où sortent et ponctuent des câbles électriques comme les tubes.

Une fois que l’arume blanche est enlevée, Bill portera un veston sans manche avec des piques en superposition sur toute la longueur du bras. Donnant au veston une lumière éblouissante d’où une fumée noire d’une centaine de cristaux et réflexions sous toutes les superpositions.

Le quatrième look qui accompagne la combinaison noire a un haut structuré couvert de formes miroités fixés avec des vis et de longs et pointus crampons ‘’Killer’’, donnant l’effet d’une armure super moderne. Sous les épaules saillies des tubes qui brillent et flashent en fonction de leur position.
Pour la partie intime acoustique du concert, Bille Kaulitz s’écartera de gilets blindés et ses obus de s’habiller d’une veste motard en cuir noir avec des épaules complètement décorées avec de longues pointes de nikel, un t-shirt imprimé avec  des éclaboussures de sang et une ceinture ornée de châines pendantes au sommet du jean moulant.

De toutes ses combinaisons Bill portera un agencement de chaînes et cristaux fumés autour de son cou, et des gants de cuir noir décoré de morceaux de métal et de chaînes pendantes

Pour les dates italiennes de la tournée “Welcome to Humanoid Tour”, DSQUARED² donnera aussi deux billets VIP pour chaque concert. Les dates sont le 25 Mars à Turin, le 26 Mars à Padova et le 11 Avril à Rome.
